About Pastor Sal

Sal LoPriore is currently the Counseling Pastor at the rapidly growing New Day Christian Church in Port Charlotte, Florida. A native New Yorker, “Pastor Sal” is a Board Certified Pastoral Counselor, Life Coach, and Christian Speaker. His book "God, Golf, and Great Marriages" has received rave reviews in both Christian and secular circles. He is an active member of the American Association of Christian Counselors and is part of their extensive Christian Care Network. He is also trained and certified in mediation, conflict resolution, and negotiation. Sal completed training in Pastoral Crisis Intervention at the Billy Graham Training Center in Asheville, NC, and is a member of their Rapid Response Team.

Sal has a proven track record as a highly effective Christian Speaker. In recent years he has been the guest speaker at churches and Christian organizations in a number of states, including New York, New Jersey, Georgia, and Florida. The blend of his unique sense of humor and sound scriptural teaching allows his audience to understand even difficult biblical concepts and helps them to incorporate the truth of God’s Word into their daily lives.

In 2007 Sal and his wife, Debbie, founded Grand Vista Ministries, Inc. Their “Essentials Project” supplies free toiletries to the hundreds of homeless and needy families throughout Charlotte County, Florida.

During the summer months, Sal and Debbie can be found at their retreat in the mountains of North Georgia. It is there that Sal does three-, four-, or five-day Intensive Marriage Counseling with couples on the verge of divorce while also maintaining an e-counseling schedule with his Florida clients.

In his free time Sal can be found reading, walking, biking, and, as you may have guessed, golfing.

About Debbie

Debbie LoPriore is the wife of Pastor Sal LoPriore and co-founder of Grand Vista Ministries Inc. Her professional background includes extensive experience in the computer, health, and retail sales industries, as well as top level administrative and accounting roles in their former, highly successful, family business.

Debbie has taken a leadership role in the formation of women’s Bible studies, conferences, and special events and is in constant search of opportunities to reach out to the people around her in order to demonstrate God’s love for them. Her latest “Essentials Project” has drawn great attention and appreciation from the Charlotte County, Florida community.

As a very much in demand Certified Water Aerobics teacher, Debbie leads her classes in prayer and donates 50% of her income to Grand Vista Ministries. In her leisure time, Debbie can be found, reading, biking, walking, playing golf, and being ”Nana” to her and Sal’s two beautiful grandchildren Rylee Grace and Gabriel Peter.

Essentials Project

The Essentials Project was born out of the tremendous need that homeless individuals and families have for the everyday toiletries that many of us take for granted. Items like soaps. shampoos, deodorants, tooth brushes, toothpaste, mouthwash, and feminine products are just some of the many “essentials” that we distribute. Our distribution centers include the Charlotte County Public School System, the Charlotte County Homeless Coalition, and local churches.

If God places it on your heart to help we this extraordinary effort, you can send your tax deductible contribution to:
